Cancun and the whole Yucatan Peninsula is home to one of the world's most sunny climates, but as if to compensate for that, we ocasionally have a hurricane passing by...
But don´t worry about that. It´s nearly guaranteed that you will see the sun here. Please have a look at the listed parameters below, they can give you an idea of what weather you can expect here in the beautiful and very tropical Cancun.
Winter temperatures are cooler in Cancun than they are in Acapulco. But frequently daytime highs range into the eighties and overnight lows will see the high fifties and low sixties. An occasionally winter storm will bring overcast skies, blustery winds, and highs in the low sixties (this tends to make package tour customers very cranky).
Yucatan's inland areas tend to be ten to fifteen degrees warmer than the coast, which is perfect in winter, but furnace like in the spring (up to 110 degrees!)
